Some say that this bombing has been the wakeup call Indonesia needed to understand that there is a lot more work to do before people can relax and say the country is doing well. I must say, so far I have seen Indonesians rise like never before and it’s about time this country is waking up from the eternal hibernation.
How can a land with 240 million people go straight from colonisation by the Dutch to a 37 year dictatorship mixed with attacks from radicals and always being dominated by someone else dictating their way of life and putting them in international isolation without feeling the need to take matters into their own hands?
I don’t get it.
