There are a lot of international flights that fly to Jakarta or Bali. If you are coming from Europe, you may have to transit to Singapore. From there, you can get on cheap flights to either Jakarta or Bali using Jetstar. Or if you prefer to enter Indonesia by sea, you can always go to Batam island from Singapore and from Batam take a flight to Jakarta or other destinations in Indonesia. Some flights from Europe and America also transit in Hong Kong. There are several options for cheap flights from there with competitive international airfares.

If you are traveling from Australia, it is much closer to fly to Bali than to Jakarta. There are several airlines that you can use, for example Quantas or United Airlines. You may also want to check with Singapore airlines if you don’t mind stopping in Singapore first before arriving in Jakarta.
