If you are familiar with the rh negative blood type, you might be aware of just how rare this blood type is in Asia compared to Western countries. In Asia overall about 3 out of 1,000 people are rh negatives while nations such as Brazil have 19%. One example was the Olympic Games in China where the Chinese government had a problem finding enough rh negative blood donors to accomodate the needs of the many rh negative athletes from all over the world.

In the past few months a new movement has been started on Facebook for rh negative (or rhesus negatif) people in Indonesia and some of my friends have been very active in reaching all of the rh negative people in Indonesia.
