Having studied pharmacy, Soelaiman Wiriaatmadja started his career as an assisstant pharmacist at the hospital of Government Tin Mining Company in Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Island for three years. The following three years he worked for an Italian Pharmaceutical Company Carlo Erba before finally got involved in sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products of different companies.

Soelaiman graduated from Academy of Tourism Industry, Bandung and is a University Graduate of Business Management College at University of Indonesia, Jakarta. He is now retired from the Jakarta City Government Tourism Office as Marketing Manager (1969 – 1992), and during his tenure, he was stationed in Frankfurt as Director of Indonesia Tourist Promotion Office for Europe (1977 – 1985).

After retired, Soelaiman became a Freelance Consultant in capacity of : Tourism Management Specialist, Tourism Marketing Specialist, Tourism Planning Consultant, Project Financial Specialist, Construction Project Manager, Construction Project Administrator, Public-Private-Partnership Specialist etc. Currently he owns and runs his own blog here at Lehmann’s Blog and is a co-author and owner of IndonesiaToGo.com.

Mike Dammann is a real estate marketer and has recently become a player in the international real estate investment market. Mike is now active in a new reforestation project in Borneo and will be the Western blogger giving non Indonesian visitors a chance to read about Indonesia thru the eyes of another newcomer.
